I've had leets at the back of my mind for months. I wanted to sew Caoilinn a leet costume, then I thought about knitting one (and the penguin pattern does seem like a good one to alter). I'm a bit scatter brained and my stash is getting low, but it is on the backburner. ;)

Not a completed project, but I'm really excited about this. I found a program online that converts photos/pictures into knitting charts . . . and Shillelagh (Stiofain, Phoenix, BLARG! too many names!), being a Dr. Steel fan, has decided he wants something with the following logo on it. Now, if only I knew intarsia. Doh!

This weird looking thing's called a soaker; a cloth diaper cover. A friend of mine has been asking all of the knitters she knows to knit one each for her daughter (and in return I'm getting some summer clothes sewn for Caoilinn), so this is my contribution. 100% wool. Green. Ruffles. What's not to love?

There's also an attempt at a baby-worn shot, but Caoilinn wasn't in a cooperative spirit. I think she was attacking the monitor with the mic at the time.

EDIT: Soaker pattern can be found here http://www.tinybirdsorganics.com/soakers/pattern/

Noodles!

This was kind of an impulsive knit, so the dimensions are whacky (4" x 21"). I have no idea what I'm going to do with this, but it was fun.

Picture's kind of fuzzy, but it's clear enough to read. :P

EDIT: Skull and alphabet (with minor adjustments from me) were found in Laura Birek's Picture Perfect Knits. I just kind of made up the background fabric - a kind of warped, lengthened washcloth? :P

Thanks!

I'm drowning in soakers right now, and refocusing on this is just the kick I needed to keep from tossing my knitting supplies into the burn pile (only a ~slight~ exaggeration there).

I realize it'd be easier to just sew one, but since I'm learning how to modify patterns and manipulate my knitting to get it into specific (often weird and unexpected) shapes . . . why the heck not? Hehe.
