Whisper, with his poetry thread, has inspired me to start a thread for crafts. To kick start it, I give you . . . *drumroll* . . . Penguin Thingy! It's supposed to be a penguin, but, with my short attention span and all, I only vaguely followed the pattern's directions. Thus, we have what appears to be a toucan-penguin hybrid.

Do you reckon you could adapt the pattern to knit a leet?
I made a plush leet for Dragon*Con a couple of years back (will dig out a pic and put it up here, in fact) but I reckon a knitted one would be even cooler! Go on, you know you want to...
I envy you! I've never had the patience for knitting, but I have to say I'm now SO tempted to give it another go...
